Kaum on potato head

Kaum is an authentic Indonesian restaurant that highlights cuisine from different regions of Indonesia. The food is absolutely delicious, we particularly loved the West Sumatran Kalio Daging Sapi, a braised beef dish with a spicy coconut milk sauce. If you are looking for the best Indonesian food in Seminyak, Kaum will not disappoint. The service here is probably some of the best we have experienced anywhere in the world. All the staff were super attentive and friendly. The beautiful design of the restaurant reflects Indonesian culture and crafts. Kaum is actually inside the Potato Head Beach Club, but it really is worth a visit whether you intend to visit the beach club or not.

They have delicious flatbread sourdough pizzas here and use local Balinese produce for the toppings. We love their Kale and Pumpkin Pizza and the small plate of charred broccoli. Perfect for a casual lunch or a nice dinner.

When it comes to restaurants in Seminyak, it must be said that some of the above have dress codes. If in doubt, don’t go to dinner in shorts, t-shirts, thongs (flip flops), or alcohol-branded clothing.

Whenever possible, make reservations, as you may miss out on eating at the best Seminyak restaurants if you don’t book.
