The award-winning luxury resort brings eco-gastronomic delight to your table, in line with its focus on sustainability. With locally sourced produce and fresh ingredients infused into each dish, it’s sure to be an enticing celebration of flavors and nature!

The Apurva Kempinski announced the launch of its new sustainable four-course menu, “Locaflair”, at the Koral restaurant. As the resort is committed to fostering a sustainable future, this newly launched menu sets the stage for an innovative initiative, providing a delicious yet responsible dining experience.

Locaflair brings garden-to-table goodness, putting hand-selected ingredients from Kempinski’s hydroponic garden in the spotlight to create flavors of the season. Koral’s skilled chefs showcase culinary creativity through meticulously selected dishes, which blend natural flavors and textures from the freshest, environmentally conscious ingredients.

All the ingredients used come from local suppliers, fishermen and artisans. This directly supports the growth of local economies and reduces emissions from transport. In addition, The Apurva Kempinski Bali ensures that guests can enjoy delicacies from the sea without compromising environmental integrity through partnerships with vendors that apply sustainable fishing practices.

Additionally, Kempinski takes its commitment to sustainability a step further by implementing a range of waste management strategies to address concerns about food waste. Through precise portion control, creative ingredient repurposing techniques, comprehensive composting, and a recycling program, the resort aims to create a positive impact while providing an exquisite feast.

Celebrating the momentous breakthrough, The Apurva Kempinski Bali hosted an intimate event to introduce the new menu and raise awareness of the importance of sustainable practices in the hospitality industry through an inspiring sustainability talk show.
