One of our favourite Seminyak resorts for families, the Courtyard Bali Seminyak Resort has so much to offer for those travelling with kids.

Younger members will splish and splash the day away at the three-tiered pool, while you settle into an afternoon of soaking up the heavenly tropical sun with refreshing beverages from the pool bar. Little Savana Kids Club also offers hours of entertainment, so you can steal a few hours of peace and relaxation at the Zanti Retreat Spa.

The Family Suite with two queen beds means families can stay comfortably in one hotel room, and dining is also taken care of with plenty of family-friendly options on the menu, as well as classic Western and Indonesian dishes the whole family will love.

One of the best beach resorts in Seminyak, the Seminyak Beach Resort is laid-back luxury complete with contemporary decor and plenty of Balinese touches, along with all the modern amenities to make your stay comfortable. 

We could spend hours swimming laps of the 45-meter beachfront infinity pool, or soaking up the warm Bali sunshine from the comfortable sun beds. Of course, all of those laps are sure to whet the appetite, so we like to order refreshments from one of the multiple pool bars. For a more serious meal, there are a number of dining venues to choose from within the resort, so you won’t have to go anywhere to wine and dine. Although if you do choose to venture out, you will find heaps of cafes and restaurants right on the doorstep.

Not only do they have well-equipped suites in the main building, but there is also the option of staying in one and two-bedroom villas for total privacy, just metres from the sandy Seminyak beach. The sprawling, lush tropical landscaping is also delightful and the perfect excuse to take an evening walk around the property’s grounds and soak up the sights and sounds of Bali during sunset.

Just 5-minutes from Seminyak Square on Jalan Oberoi and a 5-minute drive from Petitenget Beach, we love that this 5-star property has funky room designs and a contemporary vibe, making this resort our favourite place to crash when we are looking for a central Seminyak fix. 

Each room has a private balcony, and there is a well-equipped gym as well as Elevation Wellness, a rejuvenating spa sanctuary. There is even a luxury penthouse with 110㎡ of living space and a kitchenette, ideal for travelling with kids or those wanting a little extra space.

When we are in the mood for some Japanese dining, we head to their rooftop restaurant KUUKI, where you can enjoy authentic Japanese flavours along with stunning Seminyak skyline views. 

Another cool feature of the Cross Paasha Bali Seminyak is the complimentary bicycle rental, so you can explore the vibrant Jalan Oberoi on two wheels.

A luxury resort in Seminyak, the Grand Seminyak Bali Resort features artistic interiors alongside luxurious amenities. We like to spend lazy days dipping and enjoying the sun at the inviting infinity pool along the beachfront. Grand Seminyak Bali Resort even has its own luxury beach club, O Beach, which is full of good vibes, great beats, and tasty food and drinks, so you won’t have to go anywhere else for your beach club fix. 

At sunset, we like to relocate to the rooftop sunset lounge before indulging in beachfront dining at the Moonlight Kitchen and Bar, where Western and Mediterranean flavours come together in perfect harmony with the sand and sea.

With panoramic views out across Double Six Beach, this property is one of our favourite luxury resorts in Seminyak. We can spend all day swimming laps in their huge 120-meter swimming pool right on the beachfront and relaxing on comfortable sun loungers, while soaking up the funky vibes. 

As the sun starts to dip, we like to head to the Rooftop Sunset Bar for Happy Hour, where there are plenty of other eateries on the resort to choose from when our appetite kicks-in. The famous Plantation Bar and Grill and prohibition-style Sling Bar make for a memorable dining experience, with consistently exceptional service across the whole property.

Suits are spacious, contemporary and luxurious, complete with private balconies, and penthouses are also available when you need a little extra luxe factor to elevate your stay.

When travelling with kids, we recommend Montigo Resorts Seminyak for their family-friendly environment and modern luxury decor, with lush tropical gardens all around the property. Even with its ideal central Petitenget location, the resort is a peaceful oasis where you can retreat away from the hustle-and-bustle. 

Rooms are modern, spacious and tidy, some with ocean views and interconnecting rooms, which are available for families wanting some extra space. Whenever we visit Montigo Resorts Seminyak, we are blown-away by the warm and friendly hospitality, and their yummy buffet breakfast always sets us up well for the day ahead. 

You can spend your stay making your way around their 3 different swimming pools and enjoying some pampering at The Montigo Wellness Centre, the perfect spot to unwind within a peaceful atmosphere. The kids club has a good variety of activities, so your kids will be entertained while you indulge in some much-deserved pampering.

Blu-Zea Resort by Double-Six is a modern resort in the heart of Seminyak. A more intimate boutique-style resort, we love the laid-back luxury and family-friendly amenities available at this property. 

The lagoon-style pool with white sandy beach is always a hit with the kids, so you can spend your days lazing by the pool or joining in with activities like pool basketball for hours of family fun. When it’s time to rehydrate, there is a sunken pool bar where you can order drinks and snacks, so you won’t have to leave the pool all day.

There is a kids club and buffet breakfast, plus Blu-Zea is just a short walk from the beach – all of this at a very affordable price. Blu-Zea is definitely one of Seminyak’s best-kept secrets!
