We’re always on the look out for Bali’s best beach clubs – and this might just be one of our favourite finds yet! Tucked away on the dreamy island of Nusa Ceningan, just a quick 30-minute fast boat ride from mainland Bali, is ARNA Suites & Ocean Lounge. This gorgeous glamping getaway is home to one of the most relaxed and stylish beach clubs we’ve come across – and the best part is you don’t even have to stay overnight to enjoy it! 

Ceningan’s Best-Kept Secret (Until Now!)

If you’re after boho-chic beach club vibes without the crowds, a killer view and mouthwatering food and drinks that hit all the right spots, Ocean Lounge at ARNA Suites delivers all that and more. Plus, it’s open to day guests, making it the perfect escape if you’re craving something a little different from the usual Bali beach club scene.

Set high on the clifftops of Nusa Ceningan’s quieter side, Ocean Lounge boasts breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean – and if you’re lucky, you may even spot manta rays gliding past, playful turtles surfacing or a pod of dolphins jumping in the waves. Yep, it’s that kind of magical!

Plunge Into Paradise

We arrived early and instantly fell in love with Ocean Lounge’s glistening infinity pool! Perched right on the edge of the cliff, its inviting cool waters are the perfect respite from the tropical heat. Surrounding the pool are plush oversized daybeds – perfect for a full day of lounging, snacking and soaking up the glorious Nusa Ceningan sunshine.

These aren’t your average pool loungers either. We’re talking super comfy cushions (warning – you may even nod-off!), plenty of space, table trays, free-standing ice buckets and collapsable umbrellas, so you can choose between working on your tan or relaxing in the shade. There’s even poolside service, so you never have to worry about those cocktail refills – winning!

Bites, Bowls & Boujee Cheeseboards

Ocean Lounge isn’t just easy on the eyes – their menu is a total treat too! With a focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients, you’ll find a fab mix of international favourites and island-inspired bites to fuel your day in tropical paradise.

Start light with their sharing plates like Red Snapper Ceviche, Crab Cakes, Salt & Pepper Squid, or a tempting array of Dips & Bread including guacamole, baba ghanoush, herb yoghurt and freshly baked flatbread. If you love carbs as much as we do, you won’t be able to get enough of the Crispy Crushed Baby Potatoes coated in garlic, chives and fresh parmesan.

Bigger appetites can choose from authentic Italian pizzas and pastas, as well as juicy burgers, hearty sandwiches, and fresh salads and bowls. Carnivores will have plenty to keep them happy with Ocean Lounge’s wide selection of oven and grill dishes, such as Pan-Seared Norwegian Salmon, Roasted Lamb Rack and Grilled Jumbo Prawns. If you’re a steak fan, here they serve only the best Australian prime beef, from premium Standbroke Rib-Eye to Charred Angus Aussie Tenderloin.

A real showstopper has to be the Chef’s Cheese Platter, and trust us – this is sunset snacking at its finest! This feast includes a generous spread of brie, goat cheese, parmesan, feta, halloumi and a moreish selection of candid nuts and dates served with fresh bread. Add on an extra side of Italian prosciutto crudo and a chilled glass of crisp wine, and you have all the ingredients for the ultimate golden hour grazing moment.

Sipping Pretty In Paradise

You know that we can’t resist a good cocktail – and Ocean Lounge definitely doesn’t disappoint! Their Cocktail Of The Month promo is the perfect excuse to try something new (and to keep coming back!). If you’re after a refreshing drink, we’d recommend the ‘Euphoria’, made with Sierra Reposado, homemade watermelon peach syrup and lime juice, or perhaps the ‘Speyside’ featuring Havana Club 3 Anejo, Nusa Cana Spiced Rum, pineapple, vanilla, lychee and cherry for pure holiday in a glass.

There are smoothies and mocktails too if you’re going alcohol-free, plus fresh juices and local heritage drinks with authentic flavours like turmeric and ginger for a real health-kick.

Watch on from the comfort of your daybed as the sun dips behind the horizon and the sky transforms into an explosion of fiery oranges, soft pinks and golden glows, perfectly mirrored by the infinity pool and ocean below.

We couldn’t resist grabbing a second round of wine (because, why not?) and slinking into our comfy seats as the show began.
