Hyatt Regency Bali and Andaz Bali proudly introduce The Hyatt Bebot, an advanced beach cleaning robot created by the innovative company, The SearialCleaners by Poralu Marine.

The official unveiling of Hyatt Bebot took place on 31 October 2023, letting the local community and media witness its capabilities firsthand. Bali Buddies even got a chance to have a go at operating this impressive robot too!

With this exciting news, both award-winning Hyatt in Sanur resorts are pioneering eco-friendly beach cleaning practices. Furthermore, Bali and Indonesia have also hit a remarkable milestone in resort sustainability journey as the first locations to welcome the Beach Cleaning Robot.

The Hyatt Bebot is an electrically powered, remotely operated robot designed to efficiently clear plastics and debris from the beach while protecting the local flora and fauna. It is an eco-conscious marvel, emitting zero emissions thanks to its 100% electric design.

Hervé Mazella, the resort’s managing director, expressed, “With Hyatt Bebot, we’re enhancing our sustainability efforts in beach cleaning, offering our guests and community pristine shores while championing environmental preservation.
