Nusa Dua’s Grand Hyatt Bali proudly shares its recent global achievement, showing the resort’s dedication to sustainability and high eco-conscious practices in the hospitality scene.

Grand Hyatt Bali has achieved the prestigious EarthCheck Silver Certification, a globally recognised milestone. EarthCheck is a global leader in sustainability and destination management advisory services specifically tailored to the travel and tourism sector.

Committed to green practices in hospitality, Grand Hyatt Bali designed a detailed Sustainability Plan – including initiatives like offering refillable water bottles in every room, setting up waste management areas, and working on smarter energy and water use.

Since executing the sustainable plan, Grand Hyatt Bali has seen significant and positive changes. There’s been a remarkable 27% decrease in CO2 gas emissions from electricity, heat, and steam use. Additionally, they’ve diverted an impressive 1,126.49 metric tons of recycled materials, leading to a high 95% waste diversion rate.

After a year of preparation and ten months of ongoing evaluation, the EarthCheck assessment rigorously ensures the resort meets the highest sustainability standards.
