From March 17, 2023 to April 30, 2023, the Land | Sea | Plastik Kembali’s Sky exhibition will showcase the impact of single-use plastic on our nature while reinventing the value of plastic waste through fiber art, rattan weaving, molded sculpture and more, using recycled and natural materials.

Earth | Sea | Sky tackles one of Indonesia’s biggest challenges, plastic waste, through a beautiful arts and crafts transformation. This illustrates how people can rethink waste recycling across land, sea and sky in parallel.

Plastik Kembali’s artworks include hand-twisted recycled rope, recycled plastic shapes enhanced with local rattan weaving, and textile weaves hand-woven by women on traditional Lombok looms.

On April 15 and 16, 2023, there will be a large market where visitors can buy sustainable handmade crafts such as recycled art, tableware, and many more interesting items.

While plastic waste remains a challenge across the archipelago, Plastik Kembali shows a creative approach to love of nature, creating a community that fosters connection and peace, living in harmony and hoping for a sustainable future.

The initiative is also in line with W Bali: Seminyak’s long-term focus on single-use plastic sustainability.

If you are in Bali, come and witness how creativity shows the potential to reduce plastic waste, also get involved in supporting the local community throughout the event.
