The beloved Kyoto coffee brand unveils its new store perched on the southern Bali hills, following the success of % Arabica Bali Kuta Beachwalk. The store addition marks % Arabica’s 160th global store, following recent openings in New York, Nolita, Kuwait, Toronto, and Manila.

% Arabica Bali Uluwatu finds its serene haven at the heart of the surfer’s paradise, near Padang Padang Beach and Bingin Beach. Unlike the expansive % Arabica Bali Kuta Beachwalk, the Uluwatu store embraces a more minimalist design, skillfully repurposing an existing metallic structure with steel sheets.

Ciguë Architecture, a renowned firm from Montreuil, France, designed % Arabica Bali Uluwatu. The firm is celebrated for blending architecture, design, and installation, reimagining traditional forms into modern, experimental spaces with a unique raw aesthetic and bold collage techniques.

To make % Arabica Bali Uluwatu truly special, Ciguë Architecture beautifully incorporates local Balinese wood and bamboo craftsmanship into the space. Inspired by these indigenous materials, they’ve crafted a charming 30-seat store that exudes authenticity.

While preserving its original structure, the % Arabica design team has added new elements with nature-sourced materials, creating a warm atmosphere with gentle light, outdoor terraces, and cozy chill zones. These additions bring an inviting charm, ensuring visitors have an unforgettable experience at the Uluwatu store.
