It’s no secret that we are long-time, BIG lovers of the Grab super app. We use it for our transport, to pay for our phone credit, for ordering food, running errands, and more. It is definitely one of the  apps we can’t live without in Bali.

A big reason we also love Grab though, is because they take safety very seriously! Not only do they have a full safety center that allows you to easily alert authorities & Grab if you are in a dangerous situation during a ride or drive, to be able to share your trips with loved ones and more…but their latest initiative “Grab Tourism Safety & Security Center” is something everyone coming to Bali needs!!

When visiting or moving to Bali, it can often be difficult to know what to do and who to call in times of distress. No one likes to think of having a bad situation or emergency (especially on holidays), but these things do happen…and if they do, you need to know who to call. Grab has partnered up with the Ministry of Women and Empowerment and Child Protection, Ministry of Tourism, and Police Authorities to present this new tool that can connect you easily to whoever you need if you get into trouble during your time in Bali.

In the Grab Tourism Safety & Security Center you will not only find easy connections to the Grab Call Center for all Grab related issues, but also to Emergency Services, Consulates & Embassies, Health Services, Translators, & Special Services for Sexual Assault. Everything you need in a time of crisis on the island is all here on this link.

As expats that have called the island home for many years, we can’t be happier about this!. This helps us and our children to be prepared for any emergencies that may arise…it will also help so many visitors to Bali.

We think this is an excellent initiative by Grab and we love how seriously this company values their customers’ safety!

If you know someone travelling to Bali, get them to save this link so they have it on hand in case of emergency during their time here.
