‘Indonesia: The Land of Art’ is a vibrant celebration that unveils the rich and diverse artistic heritage of Indonesia. Unlike traditional art exhibitions, this event brings the gallery experience directly to the audience. The Pendopo Lobby of The Apurva Kempinski Bali transforms into a captivating showcase of artistic wonders, with live art studios designed by Kita Art Friends to reflect the unique character of each featured artist.

Diving deeper into the Indonesian contemporary landscape, ‘Indonesia: The Land of Art’ expands in three phases. The October section, featuring compelling works by artists such as Kun Adnyana, Sutjipto Adi, Lugas Syllabus, and Made A Palguna, will grace the Pendopo Lobby until the 29th November 2023.

Stone Exhibition Witness by Caroline Pandolfo-Renou

The Apurva Kempinski Bali collaborates with Caroline Pandolfo-Renou for a unique exhibition featuring six ancient stones from West Java and Kalimantan. This exhibition serves as a portal to Indonesia’s enigmatic past. Imagine the joy of stumbling upon these ancient gems, eagerly waiting to share their secrets with curious minds.

From West Java to Kalimantan, each one carries a piece of Indonesia’s rich history in the most distinctive shapes and structures.

The Faces of Indonesia: Singapadu – Bali

Experience a burst of colours and traditional heritage charm as The Apurva Kempinski Bali collaborates with esteemed Balinese mask artisan, Cokorda Alit Artawan, to present ‘The Faces of Indonesia: Singapadu – Bali.’ This celebration breathes life into the exquisite craftsmanship of Balinese masks from Singapadu, Gianyar Regency – a heartfelt tribute to Bali’s rich culture.
