Jean Taouk, with over 20 years of experience in luxury hospitality, is now the Director of Sales and Marketing at Six Senses Uluwatu, Bali. Previously, he served at Anantara Sahara Tozeur Resort & Villas in Tunisia as the Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing, overseeing 10 hotels for Fortune Group Hotels in Thailand. Jean also held positions at Wyndham Sea Pearl Resort Phuket in Thailand and various Indonesian resorts, including Karma Resort Group, Living Asia Resort and Spa Lombok, and Banyan Tree Ungasan. Jean’s leadership ensures the resort excels in its objectives, delivering exceptional service and new brand offerings to guests.

Furthermore, Six Senses Uluwatu has appointed Jeffrey F. Seward as General Manager. With more than 20 years of experience in the international hotel industry, Jeffrey joins the team from Denver, Colorado, USA. Prior to this, he had a rich history with luxury brands like Ritz-Carlton, Aman, Taj, Anantara, and the Fullerton Group. Notably, he led the opening of Aman’s first urban hotel in Tokyo, Japan. In this role, he embraced local culture, worked with Sumo wrestling institutions, and reintroduced fading traditions like crafting Samurai swords to Aman enthusiasts.

Another great addition, Ignacio Moreno joins Six Senses Uluwatu as Executive Chef. Formerly at Six Senses Ibiza, he brings creativity and sustainability to enrich the culinary experience. Ignacio’s journey spans three continents, exploring 30 countries and refining skills at renowned establishments, including the three Michelin-starred Martin Berasategui Restaurant in Barcelona, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray in Dubai, Capella in Singapore, Park Hyatt in Mallorca, and Mandarin Oriental in Barcelona. Now at Six Senses Uluwatu, he collaborates with local farmers for fresh, delightful dishes inspired by the environment and culture.
