Within the Rimba by AYANA Jimbaran is UNIQUE Rooftop Bar & Restaurant. This Rooftop venue captures a fabulous panorama over the Uluwatu Hills and Indian Ocean so you will have a prime position for the famous Bali sunset. UNIQUE is a pool club fused with a cocktail lounge so you are welcome to enjoy a dip in their rooftop infinity pool or you can just perch in one of their sunken booths and take in the Indian Ocean views while indulging in a yummy margarita. The menu is Mexican inspired so there will be plenty of tasty bites to accompany the views.

With an infinity pool overlooking Kuta Beach, there’s no better rooftop bar in Kuta to kick back at. Under the shade of a cabana or daybed lounger you can take in views of the iconic Kuta beach and all the hustle and bustle on the street below. With a sweeping panorama of the island’s coastline, it’s our favourite spot in Kuta to grab a rooftop sundowner and soak up the sunset along Kuta beach. The dishes are inspired by Mediterranean and Balinese cuisine.

The Beach House offers an infinity pool and bar overlooking Legian Beach. The dining area and outdoor areas feature a fun nautical theme and we love the classic Kombi functioning as an outdoor bar. There are ocean views across multiple levels of this venue. There are plenty of outdoor areas on the terrace and lawn on the lower level for lounging as well as large screens making it a great place to catch a game also. The menu features all of your Balinese favourites and western comfort foods.

Pala is a world-class restaurant serving cuisine from all around the world. Head to the upper level and you will find a contemporary rooftop bar with views of pristine Nusa Dua beach. Open from 5pm to 12am, at Pala you can enjoy an alfresco international feast under the stars while enjoying the ocean breeze.

On the highest level of the Apurva Kempisnki you will find L’Aterelier by Cyril Kongo. The lounge menu features luxe small bites and platters featuring caviar, lobster rolls and tempe truffle lollipops as well as premium cigars, champagne and fine wines. A bit of elevation makes ocean views all the more magical and at L’atelier you will have the feeling of being on top of the world surrounded by world class art along with high end food and beverage.

At the 5 star luxury resort Karma Kandara is the Moroccan inspired Temple Bar & Lounge. Floating over the Ungassan cliff tops with uninterrupted Indian Ocean views, Temple Bar features white washed walls and large glass lanterns throughout and the vibes are nothing short of heavenly. As the name suggests, the famous Rock Bar is perched atop the ocean rocks of the Jimbaran coastline. While it’s not strictly a rooftop bar, it is the King of open air venues not just in Bali but the world. With a cool, contemporary design featuring an island DJ booth and multiple bars and lounge areas that seem to float above the coastline, Rock Bar is an architectural wonder . One of Bali’s most popular sunset destinations, most nights you will have to queue to enter with preference given to guests of the AYANA hotels.

This is a nice and breezy spot in Umalas to enjoy a morning coffee or sunset drink. Open from 7 am to 10 pm the versatile all-day dining menu is a mix of comfort foods and contemporary cuisine. ANWA’s upstairs terrace is a great spot for chill catch-ups with friends and there are also large screens for watching sport downstairs in the restaurant. On Friday nights they have kids’ night with movies and popcorn so you can steal a quiet moment on the terrace with a pizza. This contemporary neighbourhood venue truly has something for everyone.
