Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach is pleased to have Jonathan Byrne on board! With over a decade of experience in the industry, he’s bringing seasoned expertise to the table.

The beachfront boutique hotel welcomes Jonathan Byrne, who will oversee Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach’s Food and Beverage and Culinary Department. With a demonstrated track record in managing day-to-day operations and enhancing customer experience, he will be responsible for the financial and operational aspects. Meanwhile, he will work alongside the marketing department to coordinate promotional activities and events.

Jonathan Byrne is taking charge of the outlet’s commercial activities, especially the rebranding process for a few dining venues. Hotel Indigo’s Japanese contemporary eatery, SugarSand, went under remodelling just recently. Also, the hotel now focuses on revamping Makase, the hotel’s very own all-day dining venue with the Southeast Asian Street food market eatery concept.

Jonathan Byrne believes that showcasing Indonesia’s local cuisine and rich culture is crucial for hotels, as people travel extensively to experience local traditions in a luxurious setting, seeking valuable insight from the locals.

Before joining Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach, he had cultivated his professional career in hospitality for more than ten years. Starting as a Food and Beverage Operations Manager at Marriott International in 2016, his dedication and outstanding performance led him to other prestigious establishments, including The Westin Dubai and Le Meridien, Mina Seyahi. He eventually secured a position as Assistant Director of Food & Beverage.

In 2021, Jonathan advanced to the Operations Manager of Food & Beverage position at Marriott International, W Dubai – The Palm. In this role, he successfully navigated various promotional activations and sales strategies. Additionally, he earned numerous awards and accolades, adding to his wealth of knowledge and passion in the thriving industry.

Bali is not a foreign place to Jonathan, as he had visited the island twice before moving to Bali. Now working in the Seminyak area, Jonathan’s firm belief in the locality aligns with Hotel Indigo’s DNA, which celebrates local neighbourhood, culture, and popular trends.

In his leisure time, Jonathan loves to explore the city or head to the beach. If he’s not out and about, he’s on the lookout for his favorite food: Japanese cuisine.

With his extensive career and passion for the hospitality industry, Jonathan enthusiastically approaches his new position. He is eager to bring his mastery to elevate Hotel Indigo’s guest experience to new heights.
